There's a Beautiful Star

Amazing metaphors. I expected the beautiful star to be something ominous and the fact that nobody would look at it made it feel this way. Otherwise, beautiful. Nice music.

Okay, I want to say that I love and adore this game, but I started thinking WAY too hard about it and-

There's something kind of horrifying here. In like, a good way? But still horrifying. It's present in the just-slightly discordant music. It's present in the way nobody, at any point, looks up to see the star you're pointing out. It's present in the way you're literally placed on a different layer than the rest of the people, and the more you tell them about the star, the more you're alone.

I love this game, and think it's beautiful. But the best art is that which is able to be interpreted in an array of ways, and this game matches that criteria for me.

There is a beautiful star that nobody knows about. If only they would turn around, their entire lives would change. But nobody turns around, nobody cares, I am the only one that can see the beautiful star. My surroundings slowly fade away as I am consumed by the star. All hail the beautiful star.
